FLINT, MI – The Fresh Prince hasn’t forgotten about Flint. Just, the eco-friendly water company founded by celebrity father-and-son duo, Will and Jaden Smith, has donated 9,200 bottles of water to Flint and says it will continue to give monthly to the city until lead levels in the public schools’ water is below the federal threshold.
After reading in an MLive article about the high lead levels in some Flint schools, Just Water CEO Ira Laufer said the donation to the city was “a no-brainer.”
“We’re a very ethically-based company, this just makes sense for us to do,” Laufer said. “Jada Smith has visited Flint and met with the mayor.
